When to Call 911

InQuickER is intended to provide convenient emergency department access to its users. However, you should only use InQuickER for medical complaints of a non-serious nature.

If you have an Urgent or Emergent medical complaint, you should not register in the InQuickER system. You should immediately go to a hospital or call 911 for emergency transport.

What is an Urgent or Emergent condition?

Emergent: Those acute symptoms of sufficient severity such that without immediate medical attention a reasonable likelihood exists of:

1. Seriously jeopardizing patient's health
2. Seriously impairing bodily functions
3. Serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part
4. A pregnant woman having contractions
5. Psychiatric or substance abuse

Urgent: Those conditions that are not life-threatening and do not need immediate stabilizing treatment. However, they do require prompt evaluation and treatment.

If you have Urgent or Emergent medical complaints, do not register in the InQuickER system. You should immediately obtain transportion to the nearest hospital.
